I have Rance helping me today and I bought my first pistol and rifle today. I don't know too much about guns but Rance was very patient in explaining the gun options to me.
I went in, took a test and got my Firearms Safety Certificate.
I purchased two guns, a m9 Beretta and a California-compliant Smith Wesson MP 15 SPORT AR-15. The guns came with some ammo for both guns.
The total came out to be around 2.2k.
It was a very smooth process and I am very happy with my purchase. I also think it is super awesome we can take the test in the shop and purchase the gun on the same day.
As a person who is quite naive on gun brands and specifics, they really help me feel welcome and comfortable talking about firearms. 10/10 recommend.
Of course we need to wait 10 days before getting our gun, so I'll be coming back to the shop in 2 weeks to pick up my gun.
TIP: You're going to waiting for a long time. I was there for 3.5 hours in 11/2020 on a Saturday. They won't let anybody in after 6 pm. So if you're there @ 3 pm...maybe consider going in another day. I know what I"m doing...I'm going to show up 30 minutes before the shop opens so I don't have to wait for 3 hours again.
