The COVID-19 pandemic has affected millions of people around the world. While some countries are on their way to recovery, many others are still struggling to combat the far-deadlier second wave of Covid. We at Interview Kickstart want to do our bit in helping one of the most severely hit countries — India.
#HelpIndia is a relief fund for the people of India to help them fight this humanitarian crisis, especially in rural parts that are more severely impacted because of the inadequate medical infrastructure. All proceeds from this initiative will go to the GiveIndia Foundation, a non-profit non-governmental organization, working on the ground to provide relief to Covid-19 patients.
We encourage all members of our community, around the world, to participate in this fundraiser and help alleviate the crisis.
Join us in this initiative by contributing to the cause and spreading the word. Together, let’s #HelpIndia.
Sam founded a company called Writely, and then helped build it into something we all use every day: Google Docs. He has started six companies, made most of them successful and currently is at Google as VP Engineering. He is a wealth of common sense, sharp thinking as well as technical strength. Sam also writes prolifically about a variety of topics (largely internally at Google).
Bring your questions and expect no nonsense advice about Careers in Tech; Patterns in Engineering organizations; the mechanics, pitfalls and emotions of Startups; Innovation; the venture world and how investors think about money and math, and even making fountain pens and playing bluegrass mandolin!
Even if you don't have questions, you'll learn a lot just listening in from others' questions! It's a great way to spend the hour on Sunday AND make a difference at the same time, by donating whatever you can (and double its reach!).
Established in 2014, Interview Kickstart's mission is to aid Software Engineers in fulfilling their upleveling and career transitions into their dream jobs and/or companies.
We are driven by a set of core beliefs:
